The City of Eugene regulates garbage and recycling collection within the city limits.  Waste haulers are licensed to provide collection services and may collect from all areas of the City. The Solid Waste and Recycling staff also provide educational opportunies and public outreach on waste prevention, recycling and composting.

The BROWN PAGES Recycling and Garbage Guide provides information on how to prepare your recycled materials, curbside yard debris collection, composting, and so much more. The BROWN PAGES are provided in part by the City of Eugene, Solid Waste and Recycling Program in conjunction with Lane County Waste Management and the City of Springfield.

    How do I use my leaves? 
    Leaves can be composted, set out for curbside yard debris collection, placed in the street for collection during the appropriate week, or self-hauled to a collection site.  Detailed information on each of these options is provided on the "Composting" page.

    Eugene residents and businesses must subscribe for collection service directly with a licensed hauler.  All haulers may collect anywhere inside the city limits of Eugene.  Below is a list of haulers currently licensed in Eugene.
